About the Journal

The Oñati Socio-Legal Series (ISSN 2079-5971) is an international peer-reviewed on-line journal which publishes work within the field of law and society. This is broadly defined to include work which makes a significant contribution to the understanding and analysis of law as a set of social institutions, processes, practices or techniques, using any methodologies and approaches from the social sciences and humanities.

All papers are double-blind peer-reviewed by at least two external referees.

OSLS welcomes individual submissions

OSLS greets year 2022 with the intention of once again welcoming socio-legal papers for review. The OSLS editorial team will be happy to receive papers outside the context of an IISL workshop or a special issue that make significant contributions to the socio-legal field, and to consider them carefully for external review.

Following its usual procedure, OSLS will seek to publish a yearly compilation of individual papers that have been reviewed, accepted, and edited, and will likewise have an open view to include individual articles, as far as possible, as guest articles in otherwise monographic issues with which these articles share a similiarity in theme.

Authors are welcome to submit papers by creating a user profile on this site, and by selecting "Individual papers" from the drop-down menu.
