This essay analyzes the actions of the Chilean State to facilitate the necessary conditions for people to exercise their right to report acts of violence in the context of a couple, when they have been victims of it. The latter, from a point of view that integrates the theories of the cycle of political public policies, state capacity, the legal regulatory framework, and the gender perspective. The above, from an interview with a key informant within the context of gathering information for my doctoral research.
