Sortuz is selected for ESCI

As of 3 July 2026, Sortuz (ISSN 1988-0847), one of the journals of the Oñati International Institute for the Sociology of Law, has been selected for inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) of the Web of Science.

Following Clarivate's editorial evaluation process, articles published from 2024 onwards, beginning with Volume 14, Issue 1, will be indexed in the Web of Science.

Dedicated to critical and interdisciplinary socio-legal scholarship, Sortuz is especially committed to providing a platform for emerging voices while combining academic rigour with openness to new perspectives and approaches.

This recognition reflects the dedication of our authors, reviewers, editorial board, readers, and the wider IISL community. We warmly thank everyone who has contributed to this achievement and look forward to continuing to develop Sortuz as a home for innovative socio-legal research.
