This article aims to discuss Embraer's competitive strategies in the context of its innovative processes, from the perspective of intellectual property, understanding how intellectual property and the market are articulated to enable the results achieved. In this aspect, recognizing the uniqueness of the case studied, the hypothesis is that the protection of intangible assets (Intellectual Properties) was essential for the company's success, inspiring good future practices, given the economic need to produce innovation on an ever-increasing scale. For this purpose, the inductive method is adopted, which allows inferences to be drawn from the data collected throughout the research. Among the data collected are those related to intellectual property, which is considered one of the main output indicators related to technology and economic performance.
