The article examines how the ultima ratio principle can be used to analyze and criticize the argumentation of the courts in cases concerning the interpretation of criminal statutes.

Este artículo analiza la forma en la que el principio de ultima ratio se puede utilizar para analizar y criticar los argumentos de los tribunales en casos relacionados con la interpretación de la legislación penal.

Thomas Frøberg, University of Oslo

Thomas Frøberg was born in 1983, and graduated with a masters degree in law from the University of Oslo in 2008. Frøberg has been a research fellow at det Department of Public and International Law at the University of Oslo since november 10th 2008. He has previously worked as a research assistant at the University and as a high executive officer in the Department of legislation at the Ministry of Justice.
