Road victimization and restorative Justice: some reflections from the own experience

Resumen

After a very brief statement of the circumstances of road victimization suffered by the author of this text, some reflections on their perceptions of restorative justice in cases of serious victimization are presented. As well, and on the basis of some victimological and criminological concepts that have previously been delimited, the author suggests some touches on issues such as direct and indirect victimization, the secondary victimization, altruistic and vicarious pain, resilience, and the facilitating role of forgiveness to re-build and re-create the victims
