Migración y tortura: la estructuración violenta de la frontera securitaria

La creciente imposición de lógicas de control securitarias en la gestión de la movilidad migrante ha tenido consecuencias evidentes en las condiciones en las que se realiza el tránsito migratorio. La necesidad de atravesar geografías hostiles, la presión policial, las expulsiones sin ningún tipo de garantías jurídicas o la criminalización de la solidaridad dibujan un escenario violento que captura a las personas migrantes precarizando su existencia. Asistimos así a una biopolítica fronteriza que está profundamente relacionada con lógicas violentas que producen cotidianamente exposición a la muerte. Este artículo parte de este contexto para presentar una reflexión sobre el modo en que hay que nombrar algunas de estas prácticas violentas. En ese sentido, se plantea la idoneidad de utilizar en determinadas circunstancias la imagen de la tortura y, en paralelo, la de crímenes de lesa humanidad. Se abre ahí una reflexión en la que, necesariamente, habrá que poner en relación dimensiones conceptuales, políticas y jurídicas.
