Los derechos humanos en la política científica europea

El artículo propone un análisis crítico sobre el lugar que ocupa la investigación sobre derechos humanos en la política científica europea, concretamente en Horizon Europe, y trata de aportar muy sintéticamente algunas propuestas que podrían ayudar a paliar algunos de los sesgos que presenta ese marco. Teniendo en cuenta que es un campo de investigación que, en sí mismo, constituye un reto global incuestionable y cuyo estudio exige ser abordado de manera interdisciplinar, los hallazgos muestran que el enfoque priorizado en Horizon Europe, pragmático e instrumental, no prescinde de la fuerza retórica de los derechos humanos, pero, en la práctica, no los incorpora en su estrategia como un eje estratégico. Les otorga un papel subsidiario como eje transversal, sin llegar a concretar y definir su lugar en sus retos globales y misiones sociales.
