Teresa Picontó, Universidad de Zaragoza, Facultad de Derecho

Teresa Picontó-Novales is a Senior Lecturer (Profesora Titular) at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. She has specialised in the Sociology of Family Law; Rights, Welfare and Social Policies about children, gender and family. She has taught at the International Master’s on Sociology of Law in the Oñati International Institute for Sociology of Law (“Family Law and Family Policies”) and in several PhD programmes in Latin-American Universities (UCA, Salvador; UNAM, México; Universidad de Externado y Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, Colombia; UNISINOS, Brasil). She has done research visits at the Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy), the Oxford University (Centre for Socio-Legal Studies; Centre for Family Law and Family Policy;) and at the European University Institute of Firenze (Italy). She has published numerous books; articles and books collaborations.
